专利说明:

[0001] The invention relates to an acoustic protection screen for a motor vehicle engine. It is known to produce an acoustic protection screen for a motor vehicle engine, said screen comprising, arranged on one another: a support based on porous polyurethane foam, so as to allow an acoustic absorption of the noise from said motor, said support comprising a first face intended to be exposed to the motor and a second opposite face which is devoid of waterproof coating, - a reflective metal sheet - in particular aluminum - of thermal protection of all or part of said first face. The presence of such a thermal protection sheet is essential, at least on part of the first face, when the support does not have sufficient resistance to the heat released by the engine. It is also specified that the fact that the second face is devoid of waterproof coating allows the support to fully play its role of acoustic absorption. With such an arrangement, it may occur that the sheet does not sufficiently reflect the heat emitted by the engine to provide the expected thermal protection, which can lead to degradation of the support.
[0002] The object of the invention is to propose an arrangement making it possible to overcome this drawback. For this purpose, the invention proposes an acoustic protection screen for a motor vehicle engine, said screen comprising, arranged one on the other: a support based on porous polyurethane foam, so as to allow an acoustic absorption noise from said motor, said support comprising a first face intended to be exposed towards the motor and a second opposite face which is devoid of a waterproof coating, a reflective metallic sheet, in particular of aluminum, of thermal protection of all or part said first face, said screen further comprising, disposed between said support and said sheet, a heat insulating layer of porous fibrous material. It should be noted here that the term "engine" should be considered in the broad sense, including, inter alia, the exhaust line of the vehicle, and more generally any part of the vehicle that emits heat in a significant manner, in particular at a minimum temperature of 200. ° C. With the proposed arrangement, the heat transmission from the sheet to the support is attenuated by the insulating layer, which satisfactorily ensures the thermal protection of said support. Moreover, the fact that the second face is devoid of waterproof coating allows the support to play its full acoustic absorption role.
[0003] Other features and advantages of the invention will appear in the description which follows, made with reference to the appended figures, in which: FIG. 1 is a partial diagrammatic sectional view of a screen according to one embodiment, FIG. 2 is a diagrammatic detail view in section of a screen in an alternative embodiment. With reference to the figures, a screen 1 for acoustic protection for a motor vehicle engine is described, said screen comprising, arranged one on the other: a support 2 based on porous polyurethane foam, so as to allow acoustic absorption of the noise coming from said motor, said support comprising a first face 3 intended to be exposed towards the motor and a second opposite face 11 which is devoid of a watertight coating, 3033746 3 - a reflective metal sheet 4 - in particular of aluminum - of protection thermal of all or part of said first face, said screen further comprising, disposed between said support and said sheet, a heat insulating layer 5 of porous fibrous material.
[0004] According to one embodiment, the support 2 has a resistance to the passage of air of between 1000 and 1500 N.s.m-3. The fibers used are in particular mineral fibers - for example glass, silica or rock - chosen according to the expected thermal conductivity characteristics. According to one embodiment, the foam of the support 2 has a density of between 0.22 and 0.28, and especially between 0.23 and 0.27.
[0005] According to one embodiment, the insulating layer 5 has a thermal conductivity of between 0.055 and 0.061 W.m-1.K-1 at 200 ° C., and in particular between 0.057 and 0.059 W.m-1.K-1.
[0006] According to one embodiment, the insulating layer 5 has an air passing resistance of less than 4000 N · m -3. According to one embodiment, the insulation layer 5 has a thickness of between 3 and 6 mm.
[0007] According to one embodiment, the insulation layer 5 has a density of between 600 and 1000 g / m2. According to one embodiment, the fibers of the insulating layer 5 are bonded together by a resin, in particular a thermosetting resin, in particular a phenol resin. In this case, the connection between the sheet 4 and the insulating layer 5 can be provided by the resin.
[0008] In one embodiment, the fibers of the insulation layer 5 are bonded together by needling without adding resin, which facilitates the recycling of the screen at the end of its life.
[0009] According to one embodiment, illustrated in FIG. 1, the insulating layer 5 is overmolded by the support 2. This provides a robust mechanical catch between the support 2 and the insulating layer 5, because of the penetration superficial foam in said layer. According to an alternative embodiment, illustrated in FIG. 2, the insulating layer 5 is associated with the support 2 by means of fasteners 6 arranged to create an air gap 7 between said layer and said support. The presence of such an air gap 7 makes it possible to provide additional thermal insulation.
[0010] According to the embodiment shown in FIG. 2, the fastening means comprise a fastening eyelet 12 and a spacing washer 13 through which said eyelet passes, said washer being disposed between the support 2 and the insulating layer 5.
[0011] In this variant, the connection between the sheet 4 and the insulating layer 5 can be ensured, at least in part, as shown in FIG. 2, by the fixing means 6. In one embodiment, the metal sheet 4 has a thickness between 50 and 150 microns, and especially between 70 and 100 microns, a thickness as small contributing to the lightening of the screen 1.
[0012] In a manner not shown, the metal sheet 4 can be provided with a plurality of micro-perforations, the surface density of micro perforations being in particular between 400,000 and 600,000 micro-perforations per m2.
[0013] The presence of such micro-perforations allows the sound waves to pass through the metal sheet 4 to be absorbed by the insulating layer 5 and by the support 2. The insulating layer 5 covers all or part of the first face 3, the sheet 4 covering all or part of said insulation layer. According to the embodiment shown in Figure 1, the insulating layer 5 covers a portion of the first face 3, the sheet 4 covering a portion of said insulation layer.
[0014] There is thus a screen 1 of which: a first portion 8 of the first face 3, intended to be the least exposed to heat, is devoid of thermal protection, - a second part 9, intended to be more exposed, is protected only by the insulating layer 5, - a third part 10, intended to be the most exposed, is protected by the insulating layer 5 and the metal sheet 4.
